Beyond the highway corridor
Not all those who wander are lost. – J.R.R. Tolkien
As of this moment, I definitely know what I want. I want to immerse myself into the real life, as it occurs, not as we were taught it should.
I have no faintest idea what I’ll do for the rest of my life. Years ago I thought I did, but now the only thing I am sure of is that I never really knew.
I’ll embark a journey called life. I might have missed half of it, but I’ll do anything to enjoy the rest. Enjoy the scenic road of life and wander along, opposed to rushing the fast lane on a highway everyone takes, bound and confined until reaching their final destination.
As long as I live, I’ll keep both eyes on the path, observing and noticing every fragile, passing moment instead of having blurred vision, trying to focus on a far, possibly unreachable obscurity named goal.
We were born to live through exploration and creation. Are we supposed to cast that aside, opting for a final destination on navigation of life, without ever knowing what’s beyond the highway corridor?
